A lot of children join a local football club; competetive teams playing in leagues against other teams home and away every weekend.
They run weekly training sessions in order to coach the children how to play and win football matches
They are great, plenty of children enjoy this, plenty of children don't.
That's Club Football.
Many just want to play football matches with other local children.
No league, no coaching, no travelling, no pressure. It's drop-in casual football with other local children in the local park but with real goals a marked out pitch and a referee.
We play matches, small tournaments, penalty shoot outs and more.
That is Park Football.
The FA has launched the Pledge of Positivity, encouraging those on the side-lines to support all players involved and respect referees, coaches and other spectators.
The Pledge is based on The FA’s RESPECT behavioural code of conduct which seeks to improve behavioural standards in football.
